FAMILY VACATION- Silver Dollar City
DID SOMEONE SAY SUMMER VACATION?!!!
MAMAS, PARENTS, I got the PERFECT place for YOU & Your KIDS!!!!
SILVER DOLLAR CITY, Branson Missouri!!! I got to team up with Chuggington and Silver Dollar City Attractions and oh my I have SO much to share with you!!
This was our first time and OH MY GOODNESS, this place has such a special feel in every way!!
We got to stay at the Chateau on the Lake, what a beautiful hotel and view! Super close to Silver Dollar City theme park too, which was amazing, and easy breezy with two little ones to get back and forth. We just threw them in the truck with their gear for the day and their wagon and off we go!
So let's start with arriving at this amazing amusement park that's got an1880's style theme and is family owned! They offer 40 rides and attractions, craftsman demonstrations, live musical performances and shows!! All sitting atop Missouri's DEEPEST Cave! SO COOL!!
There is SO much to see and do!! WOW!!
We had a fun filled weekend with so much to see and do!
We explored Silver Dollar City, starting with indulging in their delicious cinnamon loaves ( OMG)
DELICIOUS!!!
Then we walked around and rode some of the rides, the fun Fireman's landing, then grabbed a yummy lunch of home made pizza, salads, pasta and more! Finished off with Dip N Dots, the girls went nuts for those!! Mama too, love me some dippin' dots!
Next, we were off to get ready for the amazing CHUGGINGTON ADVENTURE DEPOT Interactive LIVE Grand Opening!! Oh my Gosh Ya'll this was SO FUN to be a PART OF!!!
They literally took Chuggington from the screen to real life, and it did not disappoint! ( make sure you check out my IG & other socials at @Alilevinedesign to see all the amazing videos from it!) There were little chuggers for the girls to ride, train tracks to build, a magical land of endless fun!!
After playing in the Chuggington Adventure Depot, it was time for a real train ride!! What a fun ride all through the park to see the sights, surprises along the way ( I won't spoil it), it was so relaxing, Arley even decided to take a little nap! Amelia’s was too filled with EXCITEMENT to take her eyes from looking outside of the train at all the sights and happenings!
Next on the itinerary, we got to go see the incredible and amazing Nik Wallenda's Zirkus!!
This family show was NEXT LEVEL!! Wowwwww!! The high wire, the juggling, roller skating,
hula hoops, a 70 year old woman on a high wire who just had a knee replacement, YA that happened!
This show between the talents, the acts, the music, our jaws were on the floor and my youngest Arley kept saying uh-oh lol, because that was her reaction to every amazing stunt they did!!
Gotta love toddlers!
After the show, we walked around, got some fun and unique souvenirs to add to our home from the craftsman spots! So many different types of craftsmanship like, hand blown glass, wood works, candles, so amazing!!
Then it was time to get some rest so we could gear up for the Silver Dollar City White Water park the next day!! Delicious fruit smoothies to start our morning there, to get to relax on the Aloha river on our tubes, to Coconut Grove for the kids to play on the water slides, buckets, sprinklers and so much more! There was something for everyone!! WATER & FUN in the SUN, we made incredible new memories and finished off with delicious tacos for lunch and ice cream!
Before we headed home, we got to attend a show on the Showboat Branson Belle, and that was a treat! Magic, music, dinner, dessert and beautiful views on the lake!!
This was a fun filled and packed weekend of all the amazing things to do in Branson Missouri and I got to show my kids what this new adventure was like!!
They loved getting to play and interact with everything Chuggington and the toys, explore the park with all the rides, eat yummy food all weekend long and just adventure as a family!!
